Testing Standards

  • The main strength of the product lies in two things, the capacity of the fabric and the quality of the stitching, while selecting the fabrics first thing we look out for is its weaving, smaller the weave more the strength(usually) we prefer to use 600 x 900 D Bchord 100% Nylon fabric with PVC coating, virgin coated fabric.

The basic testing is to keep water on the fabric for 24 hrs to check its coating quality, if the water seeps through fabric is rejected.. To mimic hard and rough use we then crumple the fabric while it is wet and check for cracks in the coating, if it turns white fabric is rejected.

  • The fittings, buckles etc. we use are 100% made in India by an ISO/ISI mark company. To see if it cracks under weight, tension we simply drove a SUV over it on hard tarmac.

  • No one can beat the Japanese when it comes to making the perfect machinery. We us only Made In Japan Juki and Toyota machines for stitching all our products, rest assured they never fail.

  • The machines may not fail, the fabric may not tear but ultimately it is the thread that hold it all together. We use only Quarts 4 ply pure nylon thread and Quartz 6 ply ( Made In India ) in all our products.

  • We use only Made In Taiwan (not china we checked) 1000D rubber coated (heat pressed coating technique not air blown) Pure nylon fabric as rain covers.. We also use the same fabric to make Dhol (a traditional Maharashtrian instrument played in Ganpati processions) covers.. No one has been able to tear it for the past 2 years.

  • Before handing the product to a third party for trial we check all the concern areas:

    1. Weight testing: Considering the areas where our products are used we fill it up with commonly used stuff carried by riders and suspend it using hooks and handles for a minimum of 24 hrs, from a height 18kg n case of tail bag and 80kg in case of Ride Marshall Saddle bag.

    2. Third Party Trial: It has been our policy from the beginning that any product has to be tested by someone unknown to us, we have no sponsored riders . We prefer to contact the leaders of reputed groups who we can guarantee will be unbiased towards any brand and ask them so select any random experienced member of their group for trials. Trials are conducted on ride only and not in controlled situations. After the trials if it clears all set parameters only then do we begin production.. NO COST CUTTING IS WORTH A RIDERS LIFE!

    3. The Final test: The final testing is the actual crash testing. We fill the product to max reasonable weight and throw it from a moving vehicle to test the stitching its durability.
